Broncos defeated 37 – 28 lost

The big question for this game, was will the Broncos win and have a chance to go to Super Bowl XLIV?

Many Denver fans, already had their heart set on it.  This fact, made today’s game an even more intense nail-biter.

However, the Denver Broncos came up nine points short in this critical game.    With Peyton Manning throwing four interceptions, the Broncos record now 11-4.
The Broncos vs Bengals game on Sunday, started with a BANG!  Both teams scored a touchdown in the beginning of the first quarter, with Denver leading it off.

For the rest of the first half, the Bengals kept Denver from scoring while they made it to 20 points.

Halftime  began with Broncos trailing 20 – 7.

The Broncos took control early in the second half with a touchdown right out of the gate.

This touchdown bringing the Broncos a little closer a win with a score of 20 -14.

However, the Bengals responded less than 2 minutes later with another touchdown.

Struggling a little bit with a good rhythm, Peyton Manning started to see improvement later in the second half.

The Cincinnati defense did not back off at all through-out the entire game.

Before this, Peyton Manning had never lost to the Bengals in his career. Starting this game with a 8-0 record against the Cincinnati home team, they defeated him for the first time.

With 1:29 left in the 3rd quarter the Broncos come back to push the score to 28 -27.

This outlook seemed good for awhile but Denver scored no points in the 4th quarter.

There may have been a chance for the Broncos, but with 1:14 left in the game, a interception changed the fate of the Denver Broncos.

This could be called an upset with the Bengals defeating the Denver Broncos 37 – 28.

“I feel that the Denver Broncos didn’t play well enough to win tonight,” coach John Fox said after the game.
